Inspired by the intricate patterns of Tenun Gringsing and the warm hues of Bali sunset, Sammy Hendramianto’s rug is a tribute to Indonesian heritage and the everlasting beauty of its nature. Woven with acrylic yarn which has a well known durability, the rug captures the deep reds and earthy tones of the setting sun, as well as the timeless symbols embedded in the fabric of Balinese life. Each pattern dissolve into the background like the last rays of sunlight disappearing into the horizon, creating a mesmerizing blend of cultures and nature. This rug is more than a piece of decor; it is a narrative of a culture where deeply rooted tradition meets the everyday.
